Thank you for your interest in the ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½. Our faculty, staff, and student body are a diverse mix of individuals and families from around the world. Here at MAS, we understand the challenges associated with finding the right school for your child. Therefore, whether your family is making an international move to Jordan, or your child is just changing schools, MAS is here to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Below, you will find a detailed description of what you and your child should expect during the admissions process.
Ìý
Step 1:ÌýMeet with our Admissions Officer
The Admissions Officer is responsible for meeting with the parents of potential students, interviewing potential students, and working with the Students Affairs Office throughout the registration process. During your meeting with the Admissions Officer, you will be provided with firsthand information regarding academic programs, activities, and student support. The Admissions Officer will also conduct an interview with the student and their parents that will determine the preliminary admissions decision.
Ìý
Step 2:ÌýTake a Comprehensive Guided Tour of MAS
The tour allows for parents and students to see the campus and its facilities and ask questions about the school. A Student Affairs officer will take parents and students for the school tour. Tours typically take about 30 minutes to complete.
Ìý
Step 3:ÌýComplete a Placement Exam
The Placement Exam allows us to evaluate the student’s academic capabilities in Math and English.ÌýBased on the results from this exam, the Admissions Officer will determine the appropriate grade level for the student. High School students may also meet with the University & Academic Counselors for scheduling purposes.
Ìý
Step 4:ÌýComplete Application Package & Return it to Student Affairs
Parents are given an application package with paperwork that can be filled out at home and returned to the school after completion.ÌýWe advise that students are registered prior to each term or school year, as certain grade level sections may become full. In the event that a section is full, applicants may be placed on a waiting list.
In line with the ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½â€™s non-discriminatory policy, admission is contingent upon the school program being suitable to the applicant. Admission criteria do not include factors such as race, nationality, religion, or gender when making final decisions.
