KG2 Trip to Black Iris 2024-2025

KG2 Trip to Black Iris 2024-2025

As part of the unit "Sharing the Planet," KG2 learners took an inquiry-based trip to Black Iris, where they had the opportunity to observe and explore a variety of animals in their natural settings. During the visit, learners examined the unique characteristics of each animal, such as their physical features, behaviors, and habitats. They also investigated the types of food the animals eat, how they adapt to their environment, and what they need to survive and thrive. This hands-on experience enhanced their understanding of biodiversity and the interconnectedness of living things, fostering curiosity and encouraging them to reflect on their role in caring for the planet. Through this activity, learners developed observation, research, and critical thinking skills while making real-world connections to the central idea of the unit.
