Ali Anani, one of MAS’s alumni from the class of 2009, who holds a BA in Media Industries and Communication with a focus on Creative Writing and a minor in Philosophy of Science from the University of California, San Diego, recently led an engaging and interactive session on Walt Whitman’s poetry. Using a critical and analytical approach, Anani guided students in exploring Whitman’s themes, style, and unique contributions to American literature, encouraging complex interpretations and a deeper appreciation of his work.
