ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½

As a member of the ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ American School faculty, you become part of an experienced team of professionals who are committed to continuously improving their teaching craft. UAS teachers work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. By engaging with students in a learning and people-centered manner, they help them develop their potential. Colleagues and students make the UAS a fulfilling place to work, both personally and professionally.

UAS is ‌in a residential suburb of Uruguay’s capital city, Montevideo. The city has over 1 million habitants, but its distinct neighborhoods and tree-lined streets give it a “small city feel.” Most teachers live less than 10 minutes by car to the Río de la Plata, many live within blocks of it. On weekends, The Rambla—a 30-kilometer promenade running along the river—is typically filled with runners, walkers, bikers, and sunset watchers. Along with Montevideo, visitors can even enjoy day trips or weekend getaways to Punta del Este and Colonia del Sacramento, UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Uruguay offers a wonderful quality of life for active people and families.

UAS offers a comprehensive and competitive salary and benefits package, which includes support for teachers’ professional development.
