UAS Pick Up & Drop Off
Morning Drop Off
When you arrive in the morning at school be sure to enter through the Entry Gate. A UAS Safety Officer will guide you to the two Drop Off lanes. Please pull up into one of the two lanes and your student should be ready to exit the car on the right side so they can walk safely on the sidewalk or the island to the front door on their own. Parents will please remain in their cars and when safe, proceed forward following Safety Officer indications and exit through our Exit Gate. The only exception is Drop Off for Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Pre-Kinder, and Kindergarten – parents of these students may park in the lot and accompany their child to the entrance, but may not enter the building.
Students are expected to be seated in class by the listed times. For a smooth transition into school, we recommend you plan to arrive anywhere between 15 and 5 minutes before their start time.

Daycare is a morning program for those Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Pre-Kinder students who are ready for a longer day. There is an extra charge for the program. If you are interested in your child joining, please email your child’s classroom teacher to learn if your child is ready for the program.
Afternoon Pick Up
When you arrive in the afternoon for pick up, again please enter through the same entry gate and then choose either to line up for pick up or to park and wait for your child in a parking space. Secondary students will walk to their vehicles. Elementary students will be accompanied to the parking lot or car line by UAS Staff. Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Pre-Kinder, and Kindergarten parents should also remain in their vehicles. We recommend you plan to arrive on time or up to 5 minutes before your child’s dismissal time.
Using Pick Up Line: The Officer will either direct you to your left to line up near the front door or to the right to form a line through the parking lot that eventually leads to the front door. Either way, please line up, remain in your vehicle, and be attentive to move forward as your turn arrives.
Using Parking Spaces: If you prefer, you may park your car in any available parking spot in the lot. Please remain in your car for your student to meet you at your car. Safety Officers can assist your child to find you.
Students who Drive
Responsible driving UAS students who have a valid ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ Driver’s license may drive themselves to school and park in the parking lot. The student wishing to do so must contact UAS Security Director, Mr. Alfredo Rubio, to coordinate beforehand.
Special Needs Parking
Located closest to the front door is one Special Needs Parking Spot, designated in blue, that is available to any student or parent who needs assisted access. Students using crutches, wheelchairs, or with other mobility concerns please utilize this spot for your safety and comfort.
